ITHACA MODEL 49 FOREND HOW TO
This was my first rifle and I want to teach them how to shoot with iron sights. It has a die cast frame with a few minor scratches. Looking for a nice condition Model 49 for my two grandsons. It has a Red Dot Optics Target Sports 1 x 20 Scope that is set on a Ledupold one Piece base with windage. Its driving me nuts and apparently this thing may not have been cleaned for some time so I need the slide handle assembly off to check for rust. It has an Integral front tube support (tube is a simulated magazine tube) with front bolt. Question regarding slide handle assembly removal on Ithaca Model 37: How the hell does this work Im moving the slide pin all the way over the the forearm is still stuck on tight.
